Performance is based on the amount of data, quality of data, and compute processing power provided to the network. ## Terms: 1. **Total reward pool:** 3,000,000 MASA tokens 2. Top 256 performing miners at any given time earn shares: mining is competitive 3. Rewards are performance-based and calculated programmatically over the entire testnet duration for ALL miners (not limited to 256) 4. Final rewards published on August 7, 2024, via public Dune Dashboard 5. Rewards distributed at Masa Protocol mainnet launch (target Q4 2024) 6.
